Terms of Service

These terms govern your subscription to the Surely Placed job marketing service (“the Service”) offered at www.surelyplaced.com. “We”, “us” and “Surely Placed” mean the Surely Placed business; “you” means the person subscribing. By subscribing you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

1. What the Service is

The Service is a human-delivered career marketing service. For each subscriber we provide: (a) a resume or CV written by a human resume expert after a detailed call with you; (b) a dedicated job marketer, assigned after you approve your resume; and (c) 1,000–1,500 job applications submitted on your behalf in each 30-day marketing cycle, recorded in a shared application log.

We do not use AI to write resumes or CVs, and applications are submitted by people. We are a career marketing service, not an employer, staffing firm or immigration adviser. We never charge employers and we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, visas or any immigration outcome.

2. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate, complete information about your experience, qualifications and work authorization.
• Attend your resume call, review your draft resume and approve it or request changes promptly.
• Approve your target job titles (up to five) and target locations in the intake form.
• Respond to employers who contact you, and tell us about assessments, interviews and offers you receive.

You authorize us to submit job applications in your name using the resume and details you approved. We will never knowingly misrepresent your experience, education or work authorization.

3. Subscription and billing

• The Service is billed monthly in US dollars through PayPal, starting on the day you subscribe. There is no setup fee and no minimum term.
• Launch price: $250/month for the first 50 paid members in each market (US and UAE counted separately). After that, the price is $350/month. If you subscribe at the launch price, that price applies for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and subscribe again after the launch seats are gone, the regular price applies.
• Prices for UAE-market subscribers are charged in USD. Any AED amount shown on our website is an approximate conversion for convenience only; your PayPal or card provider’s rate applies.
• If a payment fails, PayPal will retry it. After two consecutive failed payments the subscription is suspended and work pauses until it is resolved.

4. Marketing cycles

Your marketing start date is set after you approve your resume. Each monthly payment covers one 30-day marketing cycle, and cycles run back to back from your marketing start date for as long as your subscription is active.

5. Volume guarantee and “Relevant Applications”

A Relevant Application is an application we submit on your behalf to a job posting that matches (a) one of the target job titles, or a clearly equivalent title for the same role, and (b) one of the target locations (including remote, if you selected it) that you approved in your intake form. Applications outside those approved targets do not count.

If we submit fewer than 1,000 Relevant Applications in a 30-day cycle, we will keep submitting Relevant Applications at no extra charge until that cycle’s total reaches 1,000. Continuing work in this way is your remedy for a shortfall.

If your approved targets do not produce enough open matching postings, we will tell you in writing and suggest additional titles or locations. The guarantee continues on your original targets until reached, or on the broader targets once you approve them.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account (Settings → Payments → Automatic payments) or by emailing contact@surelyplaced.com. No further payments are taken after cancellation. We continue working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Success fee (US-market subscribers only)

This section applies only to subscribers who signed up through our US page. UAE-market subscribers never pay a success fee.

• A one-time success fee of $1,000 becomes payable if you accept a written offer of employment from an employer to which Surely Placed submitted an application on your behalf (as shown in your application log), and you accept that offer while your subscription is active or within 90 days after it ends.
• We invoice the success fee on your employment start date. It is payable within 15 days of the invoice. It is never taken from your PayPal subscription automatically.
• The success fee is charged once per customer, however many offers you receive. No fee is payable for offers from employers we did not apply to on your behalf.
• If the offer is withdrawn by the employer before your start date, no success fee is payable.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

Hiring decisions are made by employers. We guarantee the work described in these terms — resume writing and application volume — not the result. Nothing on our website, in our emails or in conversations with our team is a promise of interviews, offers, employment or visas.

9. Your resume and data

Once delivered, your resume or CV is yours to use however you like. We process your personal data and uploaded documents as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for employers’ decisions, actions or communications.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email active subscribers at least 14 days before a change that affects price or what the Service includes. Continuing your subscription after that date means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

Governing law and dispute venue are being confirmed as part of legal review and will be stated here before this draft is finalized.
