Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Surely Placed collects through www.surelyplaced.com, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Contact us at contact@surelyplaced.com with any privacy question or request.
1. What we collect
- Enquiry and sign-up details: name, email address, WhatsApp number, target role, and any message you send us.
- Subscription details: your PayPal subscription ID, plan, status and payment dates. PayPal processes your payment; we never receive your card or bank details.
- Intake details: your resume or CV file, target job titles and locations, years of experience, notice period, preferred start date, LinkedIn URL and — only if you choose to share it — your visa or work-authorization status.
- Usage data: with your consent only, analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel). Essential cookies needed for the site to work are always on.
2. Why we use it
- To deliver the Service: write your resume, assign your marketer and submit job applications on your behalf.
- To manage your subscription and send service emails (confirmation, intake link, account notices).
- To answer your questions.
- With your consent, to measure our advertising and improve our website.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Your resume and job applications
Your resume and intake details are stored in a restricted Google Drive folder and Google Sheet that only Surely Placed staff working on your account can access. When we apply for a job on your behalf, we share your resume and the details an application requires with that employer or its hiring platform. That is the purpose of the Service.
Uploaded files must be PDF or DOCX and no larger than 5 MB. We check every upload on our servers before storing it.
4. Who we share data with
- PayPal — payments and subscriptions.
- Google (Drive, Sheets, Analytics) — document storage, internal records and, with consent, analytics.
- Hostinger — website hosting and database storage.
- Resend — sending transactional emails.
- Meta — with consent, advertising measurement (Pixel and Conversions API, using hashed identifiers).
- Employers and hiring platforms — the applications we submit for you.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your resume, intake details and application log for 12 months after your subscription ends, so you can return and so we can handle any success-fee or billing questions, and then delete them. Enquiry details from people who never subscribe are deleted after 12 months. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask for a copy.
- Withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
- Object to or restrict how we use your data, where the law gives you that right.
Email contact@surelyplaced.com to make a request. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to customer files, and server-side checks on every form and upload. We never put personal data in web addresses and we keep it out of our system logs.
8. International transfers
Our team and service providers operate in several countries, including the United States and India. Your data may be processed outside the country you live in, with safeguards our providers offer for international transfers.
9. Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
